How to set up HDR in Borderlands 4
- ›⚠ This game’s HDR is widely considered flawed — compare it against SDR (or PC AutoHDR/RTX HDR) and keep whichever looks better.
- ›Open the game’s own HDR calibration (Settings → Display/Video) — it overrides the system calibration, so set it per the on-screen patterns.
- ›Auto-pulls from your Windows/PS5 system HDR calibration; the in-game nits cap is 1000.
- ›Widely criticised as washed-out — on PC the RenoDX mod (or RTX HDR) fixes it.
