How to set up HDR in Mortal Kombat 1
- ›Open the game’s own HDR calibration (Settings → Display/Video) — it overrides the system calibration, so set it per the on-screen patterns.
- ›Go to Settings → Video & Audio → Calibrate Display to set brightness against the test image.
- ›HDR Scene Scale shifts the exposure midpoint darker/brighter — leave it centred and only nudge it if scenes look washed out or crushed.
- ›Console HDR is strong (almost no black-level raise on PS5/Xbox). On PC, calibrate first using the console HDR step, as the PC port’s HDR is a touch less consistent.
