An ICC profile corrects this monitor’s SDR colour at the OS level — gamut, gamma and white point — for accurate desktop, photo and video work. HDR is handled by the Windows/console HDR pipeline, so an ICC profile does not affect full-screen HDR.

Install the profile

1Windows — install — Colour Management → add & set defaultSearch “Colour Management” → Devices → your monitor → tick “Use my settings for this device” → Add… the .icm/.icc → Set as Default Profile.
2Windows — load the LUT — Enable the calibration loaderColour Management → Advanced → Change system defaults… → Advanced → tick “Use Windows display calibration” so the profile’s gamma/LUT loads at start-up.

ICC profiles apply to SDR only — they don’t affect full-screen HDR, and some exclusive-fullscreen games bypass them.
A downloaded profile was made on a different unit; panel variation makes it a good baseline, not perfect. For critical work, calibrate your own with a colorimeter (e.g. DisplayCAL).
Match the monitor’s OSD to what the profile expects, or the correction will be off.
