How to set up HDR in Starfield
- ›Open the game’s own HDR calibration (Settings → Display/Video) — it overrides the system calibration, so set it per the on-screen patterns.
- ›Launch HDR was broken (raised blacks, washed out); the 2024 Patch 1.8 overhauled it to use system HDR — it’s solid now.
- ›Set Peak HDR Luminance to your panel’s nits and recalibrate if you played at launch.
